But, due to Google AMP implementation requirements, I have seen some resistance among my clients. It was refreshing to see Adams mention that he had had similar feelings. Let's see some highlights from his slides: Google AMP pages are alternate versions of your web pages primarily designed for speed and mobile. Google's validator will not validate unless your structure data is correct so that we know exactly what type of content we are looking at. Google AMP does not support JavaScript. You must use the AMP version for fonts, videos, iframes, etc. Create a separate Google Analytics view for your AMP.
